[Mr. Potato Head rearranges his facial features crazily]

Mr. Potato Head: Hey, Hamm. Look at me, I'm Potasso!
M. Patate: Eh, Bayonne. Regardes-moi, j'suis Patasso!

[Mr. Potato Head puts his eyes, mouth and nose in a position that recalls a famous Picasso work.]

Hamm: I don't get it.
Bayonne: J'ai rien compris.

Mr. Potato Head: You uncultured swine!
M. Patate: Quel porc inculte!

For those of us who burn to create genius works of art along the lines of famous artists such as Mr. Potato Head or Picasso, there is a wonderful website just for us, called Mr. Picassohead:

http://www.mrpicassohead.com/canvas.html?id=5f6f78a&skin=...

The creator of this fun little website has made a little inventory of portrait elements from actual Picasso drawings, that you drag with your mouse to compose and color your own "Picasso", complete with your signature in the master's lettering (see screen shot below).

No, you don't create masterpieces, but a little dash of a chance to be creative for a few minutes can brighten anyone's day. Besides, it kept my two adolescents quiet while I listened to the latest Melvyn Bragg podcast.

I have seen the future. Bill Gates will use his vast fortune to increase what he is already doing with Corbis and he will create the ultimate Picasso head - digitizing all the elements of all known art and anyone can make anything one wishes and even sign it.
Pure genius - and to think it may have all started with Mr. Potato Head.
