Extract: Gould's "Art of Piano"/Extrait: "L'art du piano" de Gould

This is no more and no less than a brief wonder I found on You Tube: an extract from "The Art of Piano" documentary with Glenn Gould, here playing J.S.Bach's Partita #2. Three minutes of Glenn in his slippers and dressing gown, a cup of coffee on a corner of his piano, playing with an intensity that is only showcased by his dog's bored detachment.

Ceci n'est ni plus ni moins qu'une courte merveille que j'ai trouvé sur le site You Tube: un extrait du documentaire "L'art du piano" avec Glenn Gould, dans lequel il joue le Partita no. 2 de J.S. Bach. Trois minutes de Glenn dans ses pantoufles et son peignoir, une tasse de café sur le coin de son piano; il joue avec une intensité qui n'est que mise en valeur par l'ennui détaché de son chien.
